Nick and I would like to thank you enormously for the work you have done in helping us design our new home. We set about renovating our Victorian home in Elsternwick in order to meet the needs of our growing family however being two working parents we knew it was going to be too big a project to tackle on our own. We came across your work when inspecting another house that we fell in love with and immediately knew your taste and style were exactly what we were looking for. We were thrilled when you agreed to take on the design aspect of our renovation and found your prices to be within our budget.

Danni, you listened to us and understood immediately what we were hoping to achieve, improving on many of our ideas. Your knowledge of products, colours and designs has amazed me and made our decisions so much easier. I have felt confident in all your recommendations.

Danni, you have been extremely patient with us and I acknowledge I have been rather indecisive at times! You have absolutely beautiful taste and style and I have loved all your ideas. I feel confident our home will not only stand the test of time but will continue to thrill me every time I walk through the door. We have not only achieved the exact look we were after but improved on it thanks to you.

Thank God we found you! Who knows what our home would have ended up looking like had we not had your input.

Thanks for your time in revising our architectural drawings with a view to resolving some design issues we have been having with the floorplan - specifically the bathroom and ensuite layouts and creating a workable space for pantry and laundry. You’ve done a great job in bringing fresh eyes to the project and making changes that have resulted in the floorplan becoming “clean” once again. You are fantastic at listening to your client’s needs and then interpreting that into great clean designs! You seem to intuitively understand what is needed and what will work in a small space and what will not.

I have been impressed with your attention to even the smallest of details in this redesign process. Though we are a while off building our renovation, we are looking forward to your guidance with colors and soft furnishings. The one aspect of the renovation that we are most looking forward to having you undertake however, is management of our project. We have undertaken this ourselves in previous renovations and recognise that this is pretty much a full-time job as meetings with trades and on-site decisions are constantly required, not to mention keeping a watchful eye on the project’s progress to keep within the scheduled time frame and budget. I am truly looking forward to handing you the reins on this one, Danni!

Anyway, thanks again for bringing your expertise to our project to date. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with you over the next couple of years.

We have known Danni for 6 years and over the last few years have used her services to assist us with some small renovations to our home. We originally renovated our house 8 years ago, and engaged Danni’s services 4 years ago for some final touches to a couple of the rooms. Danni provided guidance, designed, organised quotes and tradesmen for the
installation of cabinetry and a fireplace in our family rumpus area.

Earlier this year, we decided to complete our renovation with the addition of an upstairs area, which included bedrooms, bathroom and rumpus. Although we had previously renovated ourselves, we chose to once again seek Danni’s assistance and expertise, based on how happy we were with her previous work and also to optimise our time.

Danni sat with us, reviewed our plans and gave us ideas to consider before the start of the extension. During the extension, she ensured we were still happy with what decisions we had made and did a lot of background work drawing sketches for wardrobes, bathroom cabinetry and bathroom layout. She also assisted in choosing the right type of carpet for our home, with the ages of our children in mind.

Danni listened intently to what we wanted, giving thoughtful design suggestions, diplomatic choice of words for any design differences between my husband and I, and of course patience with our many questions and time we took to make some of our decisions. Our main objective was to make the upstairs extension a little bit more modern than our Edwardian period renovation downstairs, without it being noticeable. Because she listened to us, we found she was able to bring exactly the choices of tiles etc to us that met with our approval. She even organised a sample blind, when we were unsure of how the fabric we chose was going to look as a finished product.

Danni, once she engaged the trades, was there when they measured up for the quotes and had detailed lists of what was needed, for example exact paint colours, fabric samples, stone samples. All trades engaged by Danni were courteous, good quality trades, and none so far have had to come back to amend anything, other than changes from our end.

We would definitely recommend Danni. We were very pleased with her professionalism, cheerful disposition, attention to detail and her knowledge of design materials.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know what a great job you did in managing our renovation. David and I were thrilled with the process and are delighted with the beautiful home we now live in. Thanks to you, what usually is a stressful time was actually quite enjoyable. You helped in the decision making of colour schemes and in choosing the tiles, granite, appliances, splashback, tap wear, carpet and soft furnishings etc.

I also want to recognise the hard work from Jason, Ben, Brindley and Dan, who carried out the demolition, framing and a host of other tasks. All of the trades people used by yourself were a pleasure to have in our home. They all took pride in their work and cleaned up after themselves.

I have no hesitation in recommending Renovogue to anyone wanting to renovate or even just redecorate. Nothing was too much trouble! You did a great job and have wonderful people working with you making the whole experience extremely positive.
